June 26We’ll discuss foundational ingredients and methods to successful vegan baking, personalization of recipes, and tips to success, while making tender shortbread cookies, nostalgic vanilla cake, and a rustic sweet or savory galette (sheet pan pie).
Basics of Gluten-Free Baking
July 24Navigate the maze of gluten free flours and conquer your cravings! This class will teach you the science behind replicating recipes without gluten (or dairy, this class will also be vegan); while incorporating its and tricks to make your experience a success and even get your kids involved! We’ll be making sugar cookies, crispy yet fluffy focaccia bread, and a scrumptious cake, with ideas for spicing them up and transforming them into endless treats for your family.
Terms & Conditions: Class sizes are limited based on kitchen space as this is a hands-on and personalized class inside the bakery. Participants must be adults ages 18 and over and must mind health codes. All participants must have basic cooking skills and use hair restraints throughout the class, as Carina’s Bakery will not be held responsible for injuries. Upfront payment is required to secure a spot and enable proper purchase and preparation of ingredients. Carina reserves the right to cancel and refund any class that does not meet the minimum sign up requirement of 4 people. Registrants would get at a 3-day notice if this is the case.
