Snack Cakes

Featuring our best selling Scandinavian Almond Cake, a dense but moist not-quite-pound cake with caramelized outside and addictive almond flavor. GF. Also pictured here is our Pistachio Cake, Toscakakor (Swedish customers say this cures homesickness- it's a delicate sponge has a subtle vanilla almond flavor and is just sturdy enough to hold up the caramel-coated almond topping), and Kladdkakor (sticky fudge/pudding cake).

Swedish Classics

Kardamombuller (cardamom buns) - sweet (but not too much) pillowy buns with syrupy filling, crunchy ugar topping, and the earthy black-peppery aroma of Sweden's favorite spice.

Toscakakor is a taste of home for many of our customers, and I love the way the lightly almond-perfumed cake is springy yet soft a d absorbs nay extra caramel from the top where it coasts toasted almonds..

Kladdkakor (sticky fudge cake) is Sweden's answer to both brownie and birthday cake and is an everyday indulgence we approve of. The well in the center makes ice crema or caramel sauce a natural pairing!

Princess Cupcake - a portable,, approachable version of the stunning  Swedish Princess Cake. It ahs almond vanilla sponge cake, raspberry jam, vanilla custard, whipped cream, and marzipan.

Chokladboller - fudge balls with oats and a coconut coating to make a satisfying snack.

Limpa: a light rye (or rye-flaovred in the case of gluten free) bread that is semi-sweet with moalssesy flavor and has undertones of fennel, cardamom, and citurs. Great for your morning otast!

American style teats with Carina's touch

"Everyday Cookies" 2-3 bites cookies meant to be eaten in multiples so you can try all the flavors (CC's Chipper (chocolate chip), Chocolate Cinnamon Crinkles, Moby's Kisses (named after guide dog Moby-soft/chewy almond butter cookies with chocolate center), Molasses Crackles, Sutter Butter Snickerdoodle (peanut butter snickerdoodle with hint of chili), Pistachio Pizazz (shortbread cookie with cardamom, hint of citrus), and Vanilla Lime Shortbread. Fans of Morfar's Raisin - we hear you and are working on some kind of comeback.

Girl Scout inspired cookies - Caramel Coconut Patties and Peanut Butter Delights.

Salted Caramel Brownies - rich chocolate bars filled with our salted caramel and covered in ganache - back by popular demand!

Cupcakes - rotating selection - combo of American staples and more Swedish style ones with lots of fruity fillings and whipped cream.

Seasonal items: Apple Cider donuts (so good you won't believe they're not fried), and Pumpkin Bread with cranberries and chocolate chips.

Smörgås (open faced sandwiches) - with carrot lox (fermented & roasted carrots, cashew cheeze, radish, pickles), chickpea salad, and a special rotating variety always on the menu

Sauzage Roll - light gluten free bread dough stuffed around our bean-based, Swedish spiced sauzage along with a bit of "pesto" sauce.

Cheeze & Scallion Biscuit - flakiness that defies the odds of gluten free baking and a buttermilk-like-flavor that compliments the sharpness of fresh green onions and Violife plant-based cheddar.

Mushroom Schmeat Pie - a "maaty" hand pie composed of whole grain crusts surrounding a filling made of ground walnuts, mushrooms, onion, and herbs.

Veggie Pot Pie - an all year comfort food. Chickpeas and mixed veggies swim in a rich herb gravy and are topped by a biscuit crust.

Soups - Rotating monthly.

Artisan Bread - made fresh almost every day and (if not sold within a few hours) frozen quickly to preserve its texture. Breads baked Tues-Sun on a schedule, to the best of our ability given staffing. Up until late October, breads marked with a * have both a wheat and gf alternative, everything else if gf and will soon be all gf.
